General Announcements
You'll need the largest sheets available for making wings Peter T, otherwise the sheets are too short (with the ribs going the right way). A sheet for each wing too... kind of doubles the price of the model just for the sake of a larger model to fit surplus engines...

Anyone filled out their MAAA member survey for this year?

Well, I got 2 wings on the one sheet, (just)I think the flutes r about 2 degrees out?? Any way and another sheet 4 the fuse. Will start cutting over the weekend. My sheets I acquired b4, were 4 mm, but the flutes were the wrong way. Hence getting the others. Does anyone know who makes the core-flute? Have been looking closley, I think from what Kennyglide has shown us so far, We maybe able 2 make a scanner the same way 4 racing. Save wrecking a good one?

As far as I know, the whole idea is that if it was too wet or windy to fly then we start on some projects, if your shoes get muddy on the way in, so be it!!
I think Peter T was coming to start building his Mig 7 tomorrow. And a BBQ and a chin wag for other members.

I was just perusing Wolf Models' website, as I occasionally do (mostly to see if he has re-stocked his cheap digital servos...!) and noticed he now has fuel supplies. He even has ether for $30 a litre. I can't remember the name of the gentleman that was at the GM the other day, but he was asking where he could get ether from. I bought some many years ago (before the twin-towers attack) and paid $55 for a liter. Following the attack, the chemist said I wouldn't ever be able to buy it again.
He also has DII (2-EHN) at 99.8% pure, which is a bargain at just $150 per liter!! (what ever that stuff is, I'm sure that it is good... really really good!!).

Nothing has altered at the racecourse that I know. still being used, (a bit). Although the flying box was taken to Wck for our warbirds day. For the few who are still using Sthpe, I dont know that its needed back yet. What do u reckon?
