Hey, whats this about u said "from a member who has never crashed a plane", that's stretching the bs pretty thick. Didn't u have a real nice one u spread on the runway awhile ago? I am trying a couple of hooks on the cularis wing with a r/band 2 c if it solves the problem, otherwise I will remove the e/connections and go normal/ Mick has a few noisy smelly motor thingys u like marcel 4 sale. mayb u should get a couple so u will have some 4 awhile. I don't think reilly even knows this site exists 2 put a pic on. when he comes next, someone could take a pic and put it up on here.

Marcel ,would it be possible to use smallish dots of silicone or some other type of glue that could be cut with a fine craft knife or other fine instrument if worse came to worse? ?

Marcel, u might know balsa nitro thingies, but seems u don't know foam 2 well. The best is 2 use a hot glue gun, however if u use 30 min epoxy, like u would 4 wood, after a while it will peel off foam like plastic paint off a house. Epoxy works sort off on foam, but will peel if u use a knife 2 split the fuse. I have come across a few foamies done this way, so please urself. get urs flying, and I will bring mine out again.
The silicone I l know off will melt the foam, however u can get foam safe liquid nails as well. bit like epoxy, not worth the effort. Just put in M/G servos if ur worried and b done with it.

Peter...you say epoxy will peel off ....maybe that is the answer to the problem.....my Bixler was bought as a kit and I glued the two halves together with Araldite ...has never looked like coming apart.... but maybe it would peel like you say if I stuck a blade in and tryed to prise it apart ...worth experimenting.. ?

That's a good idea Kennyglide. I just wish it was designed to be able to replace failed components. Everyone glues everything in, I don't really need to be different.
Hey, on another topic, is there any reason that our membership renewal forms and new member forms don't have the clubs bank details on them? I visited David today to give him a form and tried to show him where to direct deposit the $140. Not there this year.
